Effective integration of design and construction services to ensure innovation and success for owners
Design-Build is a project delivery system where the design and construction services are contracted by a single entity known as the Design-Builder or Design-Build contractor. One entity, one contract, one unified flow of work from initial concept through completion, thereby re-integrating the roles of designer and constructor. Across the country and around the world, Design-Build successfully delivers both horizontal and vertical construction projects with superior results.
Owner Benefits of Design-Build

Jackson Creek Elementary School
Thompson Turner Construction and LS3P Architects were selected as a design-build team by Richland School District Two to provide design and construction services for the new 747-student Jackson Creek Elementary School. The project is located in an area of the district to relieve overcrowding at nearby elementary schools. The 26-acre site has some unique challenges, including wetlands, that necessitated a compact footprint and two-story classroom “neighborhood” layout to accommodate the necessary 126,000 square feet. The building and site design incorporate flexible indoor and outdoor learning environments.
