ABC Shed Competition

Congratulations to our Fort Dorchester High School team, as they took 1st place in the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Shed competition in Charleston! Congratulations Patriots! As part of our partnership with local high schools, the Students’ Hands-on Experience Day (SHED) allowed high school drafting and carpentry students to compete in a shed design and building competition. Our Fort Dorchester carpentry team worked hard to construct the shed design while Thompson Turner was responsible for mentoring the team prior to and throughout the build. At completion, the sheds were judged by local building inspectors and safety officers from various construction companies
